With temperatures soaring across the UK, many people will be struggling to sleep at night

As the temperatures soar across the UK this weekend sleeping may prove to be difficult. With the mercury set to reach 33C in some parts, many of us will be struggling to nod off at night time.

While it may seem impossible to get to sleep during a warm summer's night, supermarket chain Aldi could have a solution. Shoppers believe the answer is cooling bedding which has been labelled a 'must have for summer'.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, Aldi has wowed its shoppers with a range of bedding that features cooling technology. It helps to bring your temperature down to avoid sleepless nights and overheating under the duvet.

The cooling bedding is made from a combination of cotton and tencel, a fabric that is trademarked. It is available both online and in Aldi stores.

Shoppers can buy a cooling duvet as well as fitted sheets which are available in both king size and double. The duvet is priced at £22.99 while the fitted sheets are £9.99 - both are available in blue, grey, off-white and teal colours.

Those customers who have bought the bedding to cope in the warm weather have said it is a 'must have' and a 'game changer' for the summer. As well as its cooling technology, Aldi shoppers also say it is soft and comfortable.

Leaving a five star review, one Aldi shopper wrote: "A must have for the summer. This bedding is a game changer. It feels amazing and is definitely cooler than any other set I own."

Another buyer also rated it five stars and said: "Does what it says - keeps me cool, first cover I have had that does this, I have been looking for a while."

"Does exactly as advertised, perfect for the warmer weather, also have the quilt designed for it and never been so comfortable while sleeping," one shopper wrote.
