There’s nothing wrong with a little pink, but today, there are so many fun ways to accessorize a nursery for a baby girl. From designs with woodland creatures and baby sloths (yes, you read that right!) to furniture in soothing seafoam and soft neutrals, we’ve rounded up 25 ideas to help start a truly unique nursery for a little girl. And don’t worry, we didn’t forget the pink altogether!

The walnut base of this convertible crib may seem a bit mature for a nursery, but the clear acrylic sides with laser-cut flowers make it feel playful and a touch girly. It has four mattress heights and converts from a crib to a toddler bed to a day bed.

When you don’t want to go the pink route, but still want a pop of color in your baby girl’s nursery, we absolutely love seafoam. Let this modern crib be the anchor of the room, and build out the pastel green color palette around it. Bonus selling point–it’s a convertible crib, starting as a mini crib (with optional wheels if you need to move it from parents’ room to nursery), then a full crib (with three adjustable mattress heights), and, finally, a toddler bed.

In keeping with the seafoam theme, this little Windsor-style table and chair set really makes us smile. Sure, little girls won’t be able to use it until they are toddlers, but it’s a great piece to fill an empty corner of the nursery and create a cozy nook.

We can just see this West Elm changing table in a girly-glam nursery. The geometric detailing is subtly chic, while the straight lines lend themselves to a modern aesthetic. The piece will also transition into a big-girl dresser, as the topper is detachable. Other benefits are that it’s GREENGUARD Gold Certified (it’s been tested for more than 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs) and the three roomy drawers open on wooden glides.

Grey is such a popular color these days for girl nurseries. It’s neutral, of course, but also works well as a backdrop for pops of sweet pinks, greens, or yellows. This dresser is even better because each of the three drawers is a different shade of grey, making for a playful take on the sometimes-mature color. It also comes with two different sets of chrome knobs, so you can mix and match to further funkify.

There will be no doubting you’re a cool mom or dad if this is in your daughter’s nursery. Created for Crate&Kids by interior designer Leanne Ford (who’s known for her “white on white” signature aesthetic), the glider is completely high-design while still feeling incredibly cozy. Plus, the nubby boucle fabric is durable for families. Complete the look with the matching ottoman.

The Scandinavian style of this rocking chair definitely ups the style ante, but it was still designed with late-night feedings in mind. The fabric is easy to clean, there’s a padded headrest and a curved back that contours to the user, and the side pocket is handy for holding feeding essentials.

The soft pink color of this rug is undoubtedly girly, but the shag style brings in a bit of modern sophistication. The best part? Ruggable rugs are completely machine-washable! So don’t worry about your sweetie making a mess during tummy time.

This sunshine-shaped playmat would also work well as an area rug. Made of organic cotton, it’s machine washable, too.

If you’re gonna go pink, GO pink! The electric color of this pouf certainly makes a statement, but the juxtaposition of the adult-style Morrocan ottoman with the playful color is the right balance.

This pretty pendant light is neutral enough to go with a variety of nursery styles (farmhouse, boho, traditional), but it’s bold enough to serve as a statement piece. The height is adjustable, too.

How sweet is this lamp?! It’s girly while still being edgy and would work so well in a woodland-themed room.

Yes, these curtains are from Pottery Barn’s teen line, but we think they’re perfect for all ages, from baby all the way to adult. The blackout feature is helpful for naptime, and the design is both playful and classic.

Easily removable peel-and-stick wall decals are great if you anticipate changing up the nursery at some point (or just don’t want to deal with the hassle of wallpaper!), but this fun cloud set‘s color palette would most definitely transition to an older girl’s room.

This woodland wallpaper is like a storybook unto itself, so when a little girl gets old enough, the animals could definitely inspire her own creative tales. There’s something intriguing about the combo of maturity and kiddiness, and the subtle pink roses add that feminine touch. It’s available in peel-and-stick or pre-pasted.

Sloths? Hear us out on this one. You can’t deny how cute the hanging, smiley creatures are, and the neutral greys mean you can add pops of girlier colors here and there if you like. This crib bedding set comes with a fitted crib sheet, bed skirt, and comforter. There are additional items in the “Sloth Let’s Hang Out” collection like a musical mobile and a changing pad cover.

How many little girls dream of a princess-like canopy over their beds? They work well on cribs, too, and this one from Pottery Barn Kids has some extra royal flair as it’s flecked with gold glitter and illuminated by delicate LED fairy lights.

Cacti aren’t quite so common when it comes to nursery decor, so this laundry hamper is a fun way to bring in some desert-chic style. The watercolor design and soft pink flowers make it just right for a girl’s room. The print is also featured on an entire bedding collection.

Unicorns are so in right now. If you’re looking to introduce the magical creatures into a nursery but don’t want it to feel overly froufrou, this storage basket is just the ticket. The added texture on the mane and tail are so unique.

When it comes to nursery storage bins, Pehr’s pompom bins are extremely popular. And though there are lots of fun colors to choose from, the mauve is nice when you want to incorporate girlish hues without being overly pink about it.

Baby won’t be able to use this rocking horse until she’s about a year old, but the modern, Danish-style design and pop of sunny yellow, will brighten up any nursery.

There are countless felt mobiles to choose from on Etsy, but we’re partial to this cloud and moon design in a soothing neutral color palette. The cloud nursery theme is popular in general, and this accessory would fit right in with such a room.

Pom pom garlands just scream nursery, and while you can find them in almost any color combination, we think this gender-neutral version on Etsy is lovely for a little girl’s room.

Rainbows are fun for boys or girls, but the prominence of the red and pink in this whimsical wall hanging feels a little extra girly.

You’ll have to purchase frames separately, as these prints are for digital download, but you’ll receive files for six different sizes to create a custom gallery wall. The watercolor woodland prints are clearly adorable, and they also have a subtle feminine touch with the florals.
