1980s shabby-chic style is getting a reboot with the new Cottagecore.

Harkening the past and refreshing it for the present characterizes Triangle Home Fashions’ design direction this season.

The multi-category home textiles company and its signature brand, Lush Décor, are prepped for New York Home Fashions Market with a bevy of new styles reflecting inspired updates of old favorites.

The result: Décor themes that coordinate through every room of the home, and new categories and product expansions across Outdoor, Make-A-Wish, Baby, Toddler and Tabletop.

Under the “Modern Comfort” umbrella of collections are several new additions.

Mid Century Modern captures the style’s iconic look but with a 21st Century update by way of Lush Décor’s new geometric 100% cotton reversible quilt in yellow and grey. It layers with a soft-textured clip jacquard duvet cover and the yellow/grey Mid Century Modern Geo.

Boho is still having its moment, and the trend is extending well into 2022 and beyond. Lush Décor mixes it up with hand-crafted woven macramé curtains, pillows and tabletop linens as well as cozy knits and tassel accents. Tying it all together are Boho Maximalist designs as seen on the Emily Boho Stripe quilt and coordinating curtains.

The company’s 1980s shabby-chic style is getting a reboot with the new Cottagecore. It’s where grandma chic meets fairy-tale cottage. The collection spans garden flower prints on textured cotton quilts, soft ruffled quilts, cotton and knit throws and comfy sheet sets featuring micro-floral prints and feminine ruffles.

Southwest Style is Lush Décor’s nod to this retro 90s regional décor. The Southwest Stripe cotton quilt features bold iconic prints in a gender-neutral palette; and the Watercolor Cactus paints an artistic picture with a pretty print that seems to grow right up the bed. Both designs have brand appeal across age groups. The Southwest Stripe pillow covers add bold design and a graphic pop of color.

Functional warmth, classic style and cozy details define the new Comfy/Cozy Knit blankets and throws. The chunky knit blanket features a hand-crafted look with a chenille-cotton knit blend that feels soft to the touch. Additional cotton knit blankets and throws come in neutral colorways and textural constructions like cable knits, subtle ruffles and pom pom tassels.

For the younger set, Lush Décor has several new designs for nurseries and kids’ rooms.

New weighted blankets set for kids includes a 6-pound weighted insert with a choice of four cotton-printed, removable and machine washable blanket covers. Patterns include: fire truck and llama designs from the company’s Make-A-Wish Collection; and its own popular Pixie Fox and Whale. For adults, there is a 12-pound weighted blanket in a Farmhouse stripe design.

The Make-A-Wish Collection by Lush Décor adds two new designs: a reversible cotton Inspirational Unicorn printed quilt, and a reversible cotton Stone Age Dinosaur printed quilt. Each is available as a two-piece twin or three-piece full/queen bedding set.

Lush Décor’s Baby Baby Core incorporates the company’s most popular solid textured adult bedding designs as well as new interpretations as three-piece crib sets for baby. Six quilt designs each include a matching fitted crib sheet and crib skirt.

Farmhouse Baby and Hygge Baby represent two new curated baby bedding styles that are twists on best-selling Lush Décor styles for adults. Farmhouse Baby, with its oversized crib blanket, is a mix of grey and white farmhouse stripe and pretty leaf patterned sheet sets and changing pads. Hygge Baby features the popular Hygge Geo pattern in a trend-right soft yellow and grey. All baby bedding is Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex certified and available with coordinating black out curtains for a peaceful sleep.

Lush Décor is also taking favorite décor themes outdoors with a colorful mix-and-match collection of outdoor decorative pillows, outdoor rugs and outdoor curtains, the latter of which includes Boho macrame styles crafted with water-resistant PET fabric.
